GOVERNMENT DIALOGUE: CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND AGRICULTURE (CDFA)
We facilitated a direct dialogue between leaders of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), led by Secretary Karen Ross. California, a cornerstone of America’s agricultural economy, produces 98% of the nation's commercial almonds, 99% of its table grapes, and contributes over 13% to the entire U.S. food supply. Discussions centered on food security, modern agricultural techniques, and building resilient supply chain partnerships.
